Placement Source is committed to the prevention of injury and ill health and to providing work places which are safe, healthy and friendly environments where safe working practices are first nature. At Placement Source we encourage responsible behavior and ask all personnel to contribute towards continual improvement in both our systems and our performance and to assist in developing a safer and more productive working environment for all employees.
Placement Source will comply with all applicable legal requirements and any other additional requirements that are necessary in relation to the Health and Safety hazards presented by our work activities. Our directors are committed to the values and policies set out in this document and to the continual development of our Safety Management System.
Placement Source top management will set Health and Safety objectives for each calendar year that provides a goal for asserting Health and Safety within the organization. These objectives will be reviewed on an annual basis for continuing suitability and modified where required. The objectives will be filtered down to relevant levels within the organization and progress will be reviewed throughout the year.
The Health and Safety Management System is crucial to the effective operation of our business and the safeguarding of our employees. This policy and all safety documentation are readily available to all company personnel via company documentation systems. This information will also be made available to any interested parties and will be reviewed periodically to ensure it remains current and applicable.
The Placement Source Quality Health and Safety Management System is designed to meet the requirements of BS OHSAS 18001 and ISO 45001.
Since the 1970 Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) has been committed to safe and healthy conditions in the workplace. OSHA regulations ensure safe and healthful working conditions for working men and women by setting and enforcing standards and by providing training, outreach, education and assistance. Since its inception, workplace injuries, illnesses, and deaths have decreased by over 65%. This federal agency works with state and local organizations to enforce safety standards at companies across the United States.
